These Terms govern your use of African Post GH (the “Service”), operated by Caisse Continentale Afrique, a non-profit association registered in France (association loi 1901, SIREN 848 676 136), registered office 18 Rue Victor Hugo, 45120 Châlette-sur-Loing, France (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. What the Service is
African Post GH is a connection platform. We help senders and transporters find each other. We are not a carrier, courier or logistics company. We do not transport anything, we are not a party to any agreement made between users, we do not handle payments, hold funds, take a commission or provide escrow. Any contract, payment and handover happens directly between the sender and the transporter.
2. Eligibility & accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a contract.
- You must give accurate information and keep your account secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
- You may be asked to verify your phone, email and Ghana Card to build trust with other users.
3. Your responsibilities
- Only send or carry legal goods that you are entitled to send or carry.
- Describe shipments and trips honestly (contents, weight, route, price).
- Honour the agreements you make with other users and communicate respectfully.
- At pickup, we strongly recommend both parties verify each other’s identity (e.g. Ghana Card).
4. Prohibited items
You may not send, carry or advertise: illegal drugs or substances; weapons, ammunition or explosives; cash or negotiable instruments; stolen goods; counterfeit items; hazardous, flammable or perishable goods that endanger others; live animals; human remains; or anything prohibited by Ghanaian law. We may remove listings and suspend accounts that breach this.
5. No warranty & limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is”. As a free, non-profit intermediary, we do not guarantee the conduct, reliability, honesty or identity of any user, the condition, legality or safe delivery of any item, or that a shipment will be picked up or completed. You use the Service and deal with other users at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Caisse Continentale Afrique is not liable for any loss, theft, damage, delay, injury or dispute arising from a transaction or interaction between users.
6. Disputes between users
Senders and transporters are responsible for resolving disputes directly between themselves. We may, at our discretion, help, mediate or share information, but we are not obliged to and are not responsible for the outcome.
7. Verification, reporting & suspension
We may verify identities, review reports, and suspend or remove any account or content that we believe breaches these Terms, is fraudulent, or harms other users — at our discretion.
8. Fees
African Post GH is free to use. We do not charge users to send, transport, make offers or post trips. Any payment for a delivery is agreed and made directly between users.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new date. Continued use means you accept the updated Terms.
10. Governing law
Caisse Continentale Afrique is governed by French law. Use of the Service in Ghana is also subject to applicable Ghanaian law. Nothing here removes any mandatory consumer rights you may have.
