Once your parcel is on the road, the worst part is not knowing where it is. On African Post GH you don't have to keep phoning the driver — you can follow the delivery live, from pickup to the recipient's doorstep.
Every parcel gets a tracking code
When a transporter accepts your job, your shipment gets a code like APG-XXXXXXXX. Share it with whoever is receiving the parcel. They can open track your parcel, type the code, and see the status — no account needed.
What the live map shows
If the driver is sharing their location, you'll see their last known position on a map — handy on a long run like Accra → Tamale that takes most of a day. The status also moves through the stages: picked up, on the way, near drop-off, delivered.
The delivery code that protects you
A parcel can't be marked "delivered" until your recipient reads back the 4-digit PIN you were given. So even when tracking shows "near drop-off", the job only closes when the parcel is genuinely in the right hands. Keep that PIN for the recipient only.
If a parcel goes quiet
Drivers lose signal on stretches of the N6 or up north — a gap on the map usually just means bad network, not a problem. If it stays silent well past the expected time, message the transporter in the app chat (numbers stay private, so keep everything on-platform), and if needed report the issue from the tracking page.
Not sent anything yet? Send a parcel and you'll get your first tracking code in minutes.
