Kumasi to Tamale is the gateway to the north — around 385 km up the highway through Kintampo, a solid five to six hours on the road. It's a heavily-used trade route, with buses and trucks running it daily, so sending a parcel to Tamale from Kumasi is easier and cheaper than most people expect.
